Somewhat disappointing as I have been before and had great service in the cafe but on todays occasion I was thoroughly disappointed and ended up leaving and finding somewhere else to dine. We were greeted (if you could call it that) in what we felt to be quite a rude manner and then when I went to find a table I had it literally pulled away from me by a staff member who proclaimed it to be reserved despite there being no such indication on the table and then offered no alternative. It was then suggested that we maybe seat ourselves outside even though it was on the cool side and blowing quite a gale. I am not normally hard to please but on this occasion we felt distinctly unwelcome and felt we had no option but to leave, so we did. Sadly I dont think I will be back.
25 of us met for lunch it was a Probus gathering and we all had a great meal and a stroll around the nursery after it was a wonderful afternoon out.
Great selection of plants, always very happy with what is offered. Please ensure all your staff understand what makes a great customer experience because one person there was abrupt and came across as very unhelpful and rude.
