This cafe has always provided amazing food and service, until today. I was embarrassed after bringing friends from the UK here this morning after raving on about how great the place is. We were met by lacklustre service by what I can only assume is an owner (?), poor seating changes with metal stools far too high for the table, overcharging vegetarians who asked to swap bacon for a simple hash brown, meals that were very well presented but tasted incredibly bland (the hollandaise was unrecognisable in flavour) and portions have been downsized recently. New owners? New chef? Not sure but I won't be back... just too disappointing. What a shame.

Great relaxing atmosphere with plenty of plants and next to water. Friendly staff and lovely food. We loved perusing the garden shop on the way out.
The Bonny Hills Garden Cafe is a pleasant place to grab a coffee, a light snack or even something more substantial like a hot lunch. It's not a cheap place but the food is worth it. Staff are great and the wait times for food have always been reasonable when we have been there.The Cafe is dog friendly which we liked. The menu does change and that's a good thing.The a Cafe can get crowded on some weekends and public holidays which means that it is a popular place.
